Production and consumption are measured every 15 minutes. Electricity is dynamically distributed within the community — depending on who is generating or consuming power at that time. Surpluses are remunerated as usual.
You only need a smart meter with 15-minute interval readings and must authorize data sharing via your grid operator’s portal. No additional technical changes are required.
No. Wattrix is suitable for both consumers and producers. Balancing happens as needed — if more electricity is generated than consumed, your usual provider handles the surplus.
